Ilang beses na nagpa-ikot-kot ang survey na ito sa Friendster, Multiply, at e-mail. Pero dahil na-fi-feel ko ang Centennial celebration ng UP, papatulan ko na.

What I’ve Done in UP

[x]   Made friends with a teacher. (Former College Secretary Sir Guanco and Dean Cora Rodriguez. Nag-iinuman kaming tatlo nyan. Si Cora pa nagdadala ng alak. Lakas magyosi. Pero ngayon ayoko na si Cora. Nabaliw eh.)
[  ]   Was tricked as a freshman into attending a rally / prayer meeting.
[x]   Wore red or black on one of those wear red or wear black days.
[x]   Wore red on Valentine’s Day. (Eh birthday ko yun eh. Saka UP Fair lagi.)

[  ]   Celebrated a birthday at Mang Jimmy’s. (Hindi birthday eh. Simpleng dinner with RPT Teammates or lunch with the girls.)
[x]    Learned UP Naming Mahal. (Pag umaga, flag ceremony. Pero madalas pag UAAP games.)
[  ]   Was an RA (registration assistant) or SA. (I wanted to be an SA in UP Manila)
[x]    Lied or begged to an RA for a slot in class. (Hum 1 ata or Math 1 yun)
[x]    Participated in a there’s-only-one-more-slot-are you-feeling-lucky? (Yung kokolektahin yung ID tapos isha-shuffle tapos bubunot ng isa tapos swerte nng makukuha, kanya na yung slot.)
[x]    Jogged around the campus. (Ritwal na yan sa Rifle Pistol Team application. Dinaanan ko yan syempre.)
[x]    Visited the Vargas Museum. (I don’t remember why)
[x]    Knew at least one xerox lady, manong, or technician by name. (si Ate Helen sa AIT saka si Kuya Peter sa Econ.)
[x]    Attended university level graduation. (April 23, 2006)
[x]    Got an activist for a teacher.
[x]    Watched a La Salle vs. Ateneo UAAP game. (Blue side lagi)
[x]    Watched a UP vs. any school basketball game.
[x]    Studied in CASAA. (Kahit maingay, basta may quesadilla.)
[x]    Studied in McDonald’s or Jollibee Philcoa for one full night and bought just one regular-sized drink. (During my cross-reg days, 1st sem 2002)
[x]    Studied along Katipunan. (initially sa Starbucks, nung nagka-SBC, dun na. Smoking area.)
[  ]    Studied along Katipunan and affected the mannerisms of a stereotypical Atenean.
[x]    Watch a play that’s not required for Comm III.
[x]    Went stargazing. (Many times. Minsan ako lang.)
[x]    Ate in Chocolate Kiss, Tea Room (in CHE) or Chateau Verde. (Chockiss lagi. Or sa Oz.)
[x]    Slept in the lib. (Main Library, AIT Library, Econ Library, Asian Center Library. Educ Lib. Third World Studies Center. Grabe.)
[x]    Struck up a conversation with a taong grasa.

[x]    Went to the chapel. (Pag sinusundo ko brother ko sa Nursery school dun)
[x]    Got a pebble stuck in your shoe/slippers while walking in Sunken Garden.
[x]    Cut class with your block to watch a movie. (Minsan sa UP Manila with my Pharmacy blockmates. MADALAS sa Diliman. Haha.)
[  ]    Had a Voltes V for a teacher.
[  ]    Took a class under Joseph Palis.
[  ]    Lied to the transcript lady to get a transcript earlier than the standard 3 months. (No need <yabang!> Nanay ko na bahala dun.)
[x]   Went to a Freshman-only concert. (Oo, kahit graduating na ko nun.)
[x]    Subsisted on just streetfood (fishballs, half footlongs, kwekwek, squidballs/rolls, mais, dirty ice cream) for a day. (Never a week went by without those.)
[x]    Learned how to smoke. (Partly.)
[x]    Went on an out-of-town trip with blockmates or orgmates. (eh Tourism tinapos ko.)
[x]    Fell in love. (Never thought it’d be a fratman. Still in love.)
[x]    Actually read the book you keep borrowing from the lib. (Sa Educ lib maraming interesting. Tagalog novels, komiks, Pupung, etc. NANDUN!)
[x]    Played cards during your free time. (Pastime sa Ecotour yan noon. Chelle, Arvin, RJ, Geo, Jeff, etc. Aminin!)
[x]    Dressed in business attire.
[  ]    Sumabit sa jeep. (Sayang, di ko nagawa to.)
[  ]    Got sung to or sung to someone in class during Valentine’s day.  [x]    Watched the Lantern Parade. (I make it a point to watch kahit alumna na)

[x]    Took time to read the vandalism in the CR. (My favorite: CR sa Main Library.)

[x]    Got held up or pickpocketed.  (Nasalisi ng Salisi gang sa Main Library. Kinuha buong bag ko. After ko magsumbong sa librarian, the guards checked everyone exiting the premises. My bag was found in one of the shelves on 3rd floor sans my wallet and cellphone.)
[  ]    Felt depressed because you were not as good academically as you were in high school.
[x]    Did a last minute paper. (Who didn’t?)
[x]    Had spent a lot for 1×1 ID pictures.
[x]    Got exempted from final exams.

[x]    Got into at least one (org- or council-sponsored) adventure race. (tapos may eating contest, grabe, 2nd place kami.)
[x]    Knew where the best restrooms are on campus. (Everybody knows it’s in Econ, Law.)
[x]    Joined an org. (UP Manila Sandigan, Rifle Pistol Team, Ecotour, Youth LITE, Travel Society, Sigma Delta Phi, ALYANSA)
[x]    Allowed yourself to make mistakes.
[  ]    Went to the gym in spite of having no PE class just to ogle varsity players/cute boys.
[x]    Took summer classes.
[x]    Admired the Oblation.
[x]    Made a video for a project.
[  ]    Had a crush on a teacher.
[  ]    Had a teacher who had a crush on/tried to court you. (No comment)
[  ]    Attended your ROTC Bivouac.  
[x]    Faked sickness to get an absence excused. 
[  ]    Got your car scratched by one of those "Kuya bantayan ko kotse niyo" kids.
[  ]    Took a PE class where you had to pay for tuition (i.e. sportsclimbing, ten pin bowling, scuba diving, etc).
[x]    Went to school in your crappiest yet most comfy clothes.  
[x]    Learned how to use the Bayantel pay phones.
[x]    Participated in school activities.
[  ]    Caught the UP Pep Tryouts.
[x]    Dated someone from UP. (Nag-iisa lang siyang ni-date ko and we’re still together)
[x]    Rode an IKOT and TOKI. (UP-Pantranco, UP-SM North, UP-Katips. Lahat. Naabutan nyo ba yung AIT-UP Campus? Meron nun.)
[x]    Found a tambayan.
[x]    Went drinking at Sarah’s. (One of the best things in my UP life, haha.)
[  ]    Learned how to beg for a higher grade.
[x]    Used your 6 allowable absences wisely.
[  ]    Lived in a dorm.
[x]    Volunteered to be beadle or go-to guy for your group / class.
[x]    Had the worst schedule. (2 days in UP Manila, 3 days in UP Diliman every week for one whole wem.)
[x]    Realized that there really is just one coconut tree on the sunken garden
[x]    Not used up all 6 allowable absences. (Puros naman LATE, tipong 10 minutes na lang tapos na yung class.)
[x]    Ate in ISSI, Treehouse, Mama Thai’s and other more obscure cafeterias. (Treehouse is not obscure. Masarap din sa may Arcade.)
[x]    Ate food Aristocart-style. (Giniling.)
[x]    Is active in your org.
[x]    Attended an ACLE.
[  ]    Got as many app forms as you can during the job fair.
[x]    Learned how to cram.
[x]    Sold tickets for (or watch) an org-sponsored movie/premiere. (Kill Bill 1 and 2, 50 First Dates sa Film Center)

[x]    Had accidentally seen a make-out session.

[x]    Finished a homework/assignment/paper in the Shopping center or Philcoa. (Suki ng ALVA.)

[x]    Slept during a test. (Pag tapos na essay exam ko, I wait for my friends to finish)
[x]    Had groupmates from hell.
[x]    Learned how to work with groupmates from hell.
[  ]    Perfected the art of parking on campus.
[  ]    Had a bad encounter with one of the guards on campus.
[x]    Developed a love for sisig.
[x]    Practiced those UP cheers in the first meeting for PE class.
[x]    Looked at microfilms in the library or poked through archives.
[x]    Reserved a classroom, AVR, etc. for a class or org function.
[x]    Attended the UP Fair.
[x]    Went to a library other than your own college’s to research. [x]    Lost a perfectly functioning umbrella.

[x]    Went to the infirmary. (Convenient eh.)
[x]    Attended class with a hangover. (Woohoo, palagi to lalo na on my last year.)
[x]    Drink beer or alcohol while inside UP grounds. (College grounds, with the profs)
[x]   Walked all the way to Philcoa or Katipunan from UP. (From Philcoa to UP saka from Katips to UP)
[  ]    Buy frogs from NSRI or a Bio department.
[x]    Maxed out on the 6 allowed unexcused absences but DID NOT drop.
[x]    Got invited or pursued by a sorority or fraternity. (soro)
[x]    Wore slippers to school.
[  ]    Had a professor who smoked in class.
[  ]    Got diagnosed by the Infirmary as pregnant or infected with STD.
